What does In Transit mean?

Recently I sent my Xbox to microsoft so they could fix it.Well 2 weeks has ped and it shipped from Mesquite,TX to Houston,TX where I live Now it's In Transit to Stafford,TX where i don't live.Does it mean that the UPS person shipping me my xbox has some stuff to ship to Stafford and he's coming back either today or tomorrow to get my xbox back to me.
