Washington, oregon, northern california, beaches? any nice beaches? anyone from around there?

There are some good shell hunting beaches between the towns of Lincoln City and Newpot, Oregon .They are both nice little tourist towns with plenty to do. And they are just a few miles from each other. Newport has other fine attractions like the Aquarium, the Wax Museum and Ripleys Believe it or not. There are also some historic light houses that are worth checking out. Lincoln City is also known for its Casino. Further south on the Oregon beaches you can visit the Sea Lion Caves, and the Oregon Caves. North into Washington there is the sand dunes where people go to ride the sand rails. But the ocean waters all along Washington and Oregon are going to be pretty cold no matter what time of year you visit. You wont find beaches like California where there are gobs of sunbathers and partys day and night. Though you may come across some small bon fires at night there usually are no trouble som parties under way.
