Anyone ever stay at Marriott Village Orlando?

We're taking a family vacation to Disney in November, and we'll be staying at Marriot Village in Lake Buena Vista. I'm wondering if there are any stores or complexes at the 'village', or is it just called that because it's a cluster of Marriott hotels in one place. Thanks much!
