I want to know that is this true?

My friends uncle was a diabetic patient he had a wound on his leg which did not cure the doctors told him that his leg twill be cut of, he went to homeopathic doctor which was his friend,had some treatment and his wound completly healed. He says he is cured form diabetes, the homeopathic doctor is man of good repute i mean to say is that he is not a fraud like wants to get publicity.Could this be true?both the doctor and the patient are alive and living in a city not far,and the patient in a man above 57.
