DWI Follow Up....Grant, Patton, Bush, Cheney, Gibson, the Kennedys..?

I thank you for the responses...some were harsh and some were supportive. Regardless I appreciate the comments... I am still awaiting more responses, so please send them. I will continue reading every single one of your messages. After reading a few comments on other question and answer sessions, the need to serve one's Nation, especially in these days is crucial. The issue of DWI is just as political as abortion, gay marriage, and wars. I have already made a decission, and I do plan on leaving the military. With dignity and honor; however, keep in mind that I am leaving on PRINCIPLE AND NOT BECAUSE I WANT TO. Was I involved in an incident, yes. Will there be a trial? Yes in civilian court. Is there indisputable evidence that are highly questionable? Yes. If I was charged with DWI 20 years ago, would I have been kicked out? No. I did swore to protect and defend the Constitution, which ALL Americans are entitled to. Convicted or not, in the end I will leave in the Army in principle.
